Witam,

Jeśli chodzi o pdf, to chciałbym, żeby się nie zacinała przy przeglądaniu dużych pdf'ów. Interfejs na qt, qtk, wszystko jedno.
Menedżer plików nie musi być lekki, ważne żeby miał mało zależności i jakiś normalny wygląd i był wygodny w użyciu. Thunar, ROX oczywiście jest mi dobrze znany. Z Nautilusem chyba się pokłóciłem, bo jak go zobaczyłem po zainstalowaniu, to się przestraszyłem nieco. :P

Nie wiecie czy można zrobić automontowanie pendrivów, ale bez użycia hal? Chciałbym się już go pozbyć, tzn. i tka już go nie mam. Nie chce mi się bawić w jego konfiguracje, bo jak zwykle musi w nim coś nie działać.

Tak na marginesie, co sięstało z endel'em i jego blogiem? Tzn. bardzo fajny był często tam zaglądałem.

W archu niestety pcmanfm ma hal w zależnościach.

Ale jest jeszcze w AUR

Ja nie napisałem, ale dystrybucja mi się zmienia na Gentoo, ale tam to chyba będę musiał poszukac nowszej wersji niż ta, która jest dostępna w portage. Tzn. skompilowałem udisks, dodałem wpisy do .xinitrc, dbus wystartowany, ale automontowania nie ma.

Dziękuję za pomoc. Evince mi pasuje, pcmanfm też nie kuje w oczy.

Ja już chyba za dużo Gnome'a mam w systemie. Czasem myśle, że nautilus jest całkiem fajnym menedzerem. Przekompilowałem

z flagą gdu i nazwy urządzeń się pojawiły, jak i w Nautilusie i Pcmanfm'ie. Można jakoś nadać etykiety? Chociaż tym znanym urządzeniom. (tune2fs -L nazwa dla ext), ale NTFS nie chciałbym ruszać, tylko coś im tymczasowego przypisać. Można?

Jeszcze taki mały problem z NTFS:

Osobiście używam evince (kompilacja bez GNOME), ponieważ oprócz PDF obsługuje szereg innych formatów.

Właściwie to czemu się to zmieniło na media? Stosunkowo niedawno.

Właściwie to aktualna wersja standardu pochodzi z 2004 roku, ale pierwsza wersja została opublikowana dekadę wcześniej.

/media jest katalogiem dla removeable media, czyli dyskietek, kart pamięci, pendrive'ów, płyt CD, taśm magnetycznych (kiedy jeszcze ich używano).
/mnt jest katalogiem dla systemów plików które trzeba tymczasowo podłączyć. NFS, zasoby samby, (zewnętrzny) dysk dla kopii zapasowych i tym podobne.
